Joanna Krupa

Joanna Krupa's story runs like a fairy tale: she was born in Warsaw (Poland) in APril 1981, as the daughter of a hotel owner. When her mother moved to the US in 1986, she and her sisters lived in Chicago (Ill.) Though she looked to fit right in with the local Polish community, and attended a Polish school and a local community college, she thought there was more to life, and convinced her mother and her sister to move to Los Angeles (Ca.).

Joanna's modeling career took off like a rocket, with much runway and representation work for companies such as Sketchers shoes, Venus Swimwear, Dollhouse Clothing, and Fredericks of Hollywood. Joanna has also appeared in practically every fashion magazine and men’s magazine available. She has done covers and pictorials for GQ, FHM, Personal, Inside Sport, Stuff, Steppin’ Out, Men’s Fitness, and Maxim. In Maxim, she made it to #61 on their 2006 Hot 100 list, and was voted German Maxim’s Model of the Year for 2004-2005. She was the featured Model of the Week in Askmen.com. The Australian bestselling magazine TV Media voted her one of the Top 10 Supermodels of 2004, and appearances in Playboy. In addition to modeling, Joanna appeared in movies such as Legally Blond, Planet of the Apes, Max Havoc, Mercenary, The Ripple Effect, and Skinner, She also appeared on the TV shows Las Vegas, ER and CSI.

Joanna is a self-professed fan of poker and plays online. She was signed by TitanPoker in 2006, and has been their official spokesperson. Even though she had only been playing for a year, Joanna made it far into the second round of the WSOP Main Event. Joanna currently lives in Los Angeles; her busy schedule ensures that she does not have a lot of time for live play, so you better watch out online!
